“You and Me Together “……

……… is, I understand, the name of this variety of Hydrangea. I believe it was developed in Japan and its detail is intricate and fascinating. The plant I have in my garden is very large, a little “leggy” with huge mop-head flowers.
The garden is dry. I have had the irrigation running at times and have hand hosed some areas. A surprise tonight. I was busy planting some baby lettuces when it started to rain….. quite heavily. Yay! I love the smell of rain on dry, warm ground. It would be wonderful if that aroma could be bottled!
