Blean Woods Red Trail

Sunday. It’s time for another fortnightly walk with the Steely-Eyed Ninja Speed Walkers. Today we are venturing out into Blean Woods and tackling the Red Trail, a modest 4.5k circular route through the ancient woodland. It rained steadily all morning, but we had an excellent turnout, considering the weather—and with three doggy companions for good measure. Although the route was shorter, with the hills and the mud we all felt like we’d had a good workout by the end. Originally we’d planned to grab lunch at the Cosy Club after the walk, but everyone was so wet and muddy when we got back to the cars, we decided to give that a miss.
