Pu Pu Springs
A relaxing start to the day and slightly cooler than yesterday, we were in the water by 10am, blissful. Then we went on to Pu Pu Springs, one of the largest sacred springs I've ever been to - quite magical with some of the clearest, purest water on earth and highly sacred in Maori culture. So sacred in fact you are forbidden to even touch it. The colours are incredible and there's a wonderful walk through bush, mainly manuka trees, to get there. It is dedicated to.various divine feminine ancestors/gods and is very restorative.
A little shopping and then we had lunch from an eco vegan café, a very tasty salad.
Esme joined us after school and she made a rainbow from all the different petals in the garden
We had beans on toast for supper - and a lot of plums, all plucked from the tree!
