Blue Skies

The temperature has remained below normal for the west coast of Canada so there is still snow on the ground.  However, that couldn't deter my mission this afternoon.  I've been working on a prayer shawl - simple 12 row pattern of purl and knit.  I was down to one last pattern, then 10 rows of straight knitting when I noticed a gaping hole a few rows back.   Stay with me here..... my knitting guru is my eldest sister who lives an hour south of me so after church and lunch I picked up my knitting project and drove to Saltair.  She quickly determined which row I needed to rip it back to and two hours later I was back where I should have been.
Long story only slightly shorter, I still needed a photo for today so I stopped at Colliery Dam for a short walk where the tall trees and dramatic sky ticked all the boxes for me.
