Apricot Danish Pastry

The only picture from today.
I went to visit my daughter to collect a few more things to take home after my stay. I am taking them home a bit at a time so no heavy carrying.
Due to workmen not turning up when they said they we went out late for a coffee and the cafe was about to close. They kindly let us in so we had a cookie and coffee each. As we politely left fairly quickly they gave us free pastry and donut each which were left over from their day. So sweet and generous. They said fresh would be in the next day.
The weather was awful more rain and dull and a cold wind.
