Up on the cliffs
A perfect day for a walk up on the cliffs. Flat calm and hardly a cloud in the sky. As you can see, the coastal path is almost non-existent due to erosion caused by weather and a huge number of rabbit holes.
The fact that the fence has disintegrated means that it will be a while before any cattle will be out in the fields, so it's a fine chance to walk around them. It's been a good field for yellow rattle, orchids and primroses in the past so I hope I can spot some this year too.
Heard my first skylark of the year and noticed the fulmars pairing up on the cliff faces. A beautiful day.
