Beading

Chilly, gray day outside. I fed the birds as soon as I got up this morning. And Sugar and I have taken some necessary walks out and about, otherwise I stayed inside. After breakfast, my sister and BIL took their daily walk. We finished making our Super Bowl apps, put our zucchini marinara and baking potatoes in crock pots. After lunch, the men visited Edna and gave her some pork BBQ. They headed to town to fill our fuel tank and pick up the meat for our dinner. My sister has been making the beaded hangers for her newly acquired antique Christmas ornaments. These were made in Japan, Poland, Holland, USA and East Germany. She treasures each one. I love the way the hangers match the balls so well. I am starting a new book but keep dozing off. We plan to watch the big game this evening. I don’t follow football that closely but enjoy the Super Bowl commercials. Brooklyn’s team won their basketball game today, 30-9. Sorry we weren’t able to watch it. Those are the sports I enjoy watching, whatever my grandchildren play. Her soccer team lost Saturday 2-1; she was playing with a new team. They are expecting a light snowstorm at home on Tuesday. We might get a dusting here. Wishing you safe weather conditions. Thanks for dropping by. "Sometimes I have loved the peacefulness of an ordinary Sunday. It is like standing in a newly planted garden after a warm rain. You can feel the silent and invisible life." - Marilynne Robinson
