Disco time

A quiet morning, which included a walk to a local houseplant shop where I bought one of these small glitter balls with an accompanying plant for the friends we were seeing this afternoon.

Bus to Waverley, Borders train (for the first time ever), and then we were collected from Newtongrange by JH. Lovely to see their still relatively new house, with its views and sense of open space. Drinks and food aplenty, before we got a taxi back to Newtongrange, a train to Waverley and then a taxi back from Waverley to home. Feeling very replete and content.

Just somewhat perturbed by news from a friend of the death - untimely - of someone my friend is close to, whom I met a few times in the past. Hold close those you love.
