Dusty

Tackled a job I’d been putting off for ages today - a good clean under the bed. Not a task to be undertaken lightly as it involved taking the mattress off (and putting it in another room pro tem) so that the bed frame could be lifted to allow the vacuum cleaner to get right underneath.
Over time, various things had been stored under the bed, because it was easier than trying to find a proper home for them. But, of course, they just became dust magnets - as you can see from the picture.
Anyway, all is now clean and back in position. I even took the opportunity to tighten up the frame whilst the mattress was off, so no danger of collapse whilst we sleep!
What has not gone back is the stuff that was under the bed. Okay, it’s cluttering up the living room floor at the moment, but the intention is to find proper homes for everything over the next couple of days. Though, in the spirit of decluttering, there is a possibility that not everything will find a home and will be consigned to the bin!
