Elizabeth Curtis ponies for the disabled

The conservation group came to do some work in the orchard this morning so I went out to lend a hand for a short time.  They’ve cut back a few of the brambles and thinned out a few apple trees but there is still a lot that needs to be done.  Two of us worked on clearing the debris and taking it to the dump in the back of the wooded area.

This afternoon I persuaded JJ to go out for a walk to clear his head.  He wasn’t keen but we managed a couple of miles.

A couple of ponies were sheltering under one of the trees.
