Amaryllis

The Amaryllis has 2 flowers open this morning.

A bit of a slow start again & suffering today with the joint pain kicking in overnight, especially the hips. Ankles joined in after got up.

A walk after lunch to get a wee walk round the community. Had another look at a fallen alder and have a better look at the cones, catkins & lichens on the branches. Had quite a few goldfinches recently enjoying the higher trees maybe not so much on the ground or fallen branches.

Would be interesting to see of the cones would take if planted in a pot? Or better straight in the ground?

Going to try to watch a bit of the Scot v Ire rugby but may not, as usual, not manage watching all of it.
