Humboldt Penguins

We had a day out..well almost a day..with the granddaughters today. It gave us a break from dealing with things related to Mrs madwill’s brother and it also gave daughter and her husband a chance to crack on with some decorating at home without interference from the girls.

We collected them around 9 a.m. and after stopping for coffee we went to Lotherton Hall. The youngsters had a chance to burn off some energy in the playgrounds and we also walked around “Wildlife World”, formerly the “Bird Garden”. To be fair it is still mostly birds but they do have some other creatures now. My favourites are the penguins .. hence today’s blip. I managed to hold the front of the camera against the wire mesh fence to get this shot.
