Baby Boab

It is so wonderful to see the Boab trees in King Park doing so well and this is the first time I’ve seen them with so many green leaves.  I’ve added an extra of the enormous Boab that was transported quite a few years ago from the Kimberley Region of Western Australia by road.  It was an incredible journey and used to receive a rousing welcome as it made its way through the towns dotted along the highway.  We keep commenting on how blue the sky is in Western Australia.  Over summer you are flat out seeing a cloud.  Our friend Sue flies home to Sydney tomorrow.  It will be so sad to see her leave, we’ve had such an amazing action packed few days and achieved so much.  We have been friends for over 30 years and it’s like saying farewell for now to my “Big Sister”.
