Yellow dragonfly
There are several species of yellow dragonflies in Australia. From my hasty research I think this is the emperor dragonfly. It was late afternoon, beautiful and cool in the garden. The Resident Gardener had been working in it for a few hours and I asked if he'd seen any butterflies. No, came the reply, but a yellow dragonfly is flitting around. And there it was. It obliged by landing on a branch on the grevillea where it stayed and stayed. I believe it was sleeping, seemingly oblivious to me taking several shots at close range. It might still be there.
I hope your weekend has been good and that you have a great start to the week.
