I had a quiet day. Late morning I walked the dog in a fine mist of cold rain that aggravated the aches and pains that kept me awake most of the night. I am assuming this malaise is from yesterday's excursions, cocooned in heavy winter weather gear walking about in cold and constant rain. It didn't spoil my day at the time but I think I am paying for it now.

Simon called to drop off his manuscript for proof reading, Maddy called to collect her clean laundry, I went to Asda for essentials. These events punctuated an otherwise inactive afternoon and evening. Borderline self pity by bedtime as moving up stairs really hurt!!
