 ............... Friday7_2025  (FF07_2025).   A bit of a stretch!!

Four pieces of the 54 piece dinner service that we bought in Leicester, back in 1992, when we returned to live in the UK from Germany.
It used to be the "best" set brought out on high days and holidays but, since we had the kitchen refit, it's now the everyday set!
We still have all 54 pieces.
We do have some random plates and mugs that are used daily for tea, coffee, snacks and sandwiches though.

MisterWhisper update:  As mentioned, we all slept downstairs on Thursday night and at about four in the morning I was woken by a wet nose, big brown eyes and a waggy tail, dragged myself off the sofa, opened the back door and out he went to lift his leg - he just managed to balance on three legs - yay!!!

About ten a.m. he wolfed down a bowl of food (complete with anti-inflammatories) and was back to 95% of himself.   His hearing has improved too.
The vets' nurse called in the early afternoon to check on him and made a note on his paperwork that he was affected by the anaesthetic for longer than was expected.   
We should get the results of the culture swab, they sent off, within a week or so ........ then we can see what's going on.   All is good!  :o))
