Nova Prestatyn Parkrun

This morning, I decided to have a change from Greenfield Valley and headed 12 miles over to Prestatyn for the Nova Parkrun. It wasn’t the best decision of the day as a serious traffic collision on Ffordd Talargoch in Meliden had completely blocked the road and I had to turn back and find an alternative route.

The Nova Parkrun course runs along the promenade and dunes and there was an easterly headwind on the long slog back up the promenade. Motivated by Tony Blackburn on iPlayer, I finished in 58th position with a time of 28:02. 

In the afternoon, I took a trip to Rhyl and went for a walk along the promenade, along the beach, and through the town centre, which brought my step count for the day up to 16,000.
