Bumble bee was here first

Near the end of my walk this evening I saw the flowers seen in my blip. I noted the bumble bee and waited until it was well-positioned before taking a single photo. It looks like an Astrolameria to me.

Earlier I saw a Kereru fly overhead to alight high in a tree. Fortuitously, it moved into a better position, and appeared to be keeping one eye on the photographer, rather than leaving. First photo of a Kereru this year
