Easy Sunday

Sunday passed by quietly. Washing, ironing, weeding, ironing, puzzles, ironing, reading, walk. I didn’t have much ironing but found standing for more than 10 minutes was too painful so I kept on going back until it was finished. It’s tough when you have to lie down to recover from a spot of house work.

Bob is cooking roast chicken for dinner so I’m free to post my blip and read a bit more. His father used to cook Sunday Roast while the rest of the family went to Mass. He has kept up the tradition even though we don’t go to church.

I haven’t played the piano for a few years since I had sciatica. Today I decided to do 10 minutes and it’s interesting what you remember and what you forget. I found an old book of easy pieces to get my fingers working. I always enjoy it (probably more than someone having to listen to me). So I might add it to my daily to do list.

I just read one town in North Queensland has had 1700mm of rain so far this month. I’m 170cm tall so it’s the same as my height.
