Burleigh Head National Park
We scattered our mother’s ashes in the sea at Burleigh, just inside the entrance to the national park and down a short track taken by surfers. We’d all spent time with her here, walking around the headland, swimming, walking north to the next headland and back, at the surf club, a cafe or restaurant overlooking the beach. Afterwards we drank a toast, stayed a while, then went to the surf club.
It’s been very good to catch up with everyone over the last few days.
Hope you’re having an enjoyable Sunday.
