Dull and dank

Yesterday was another dismal winters day.  We packed up and had a slow drive back up to London where it was marginally warmer and no wind.  
I am posting this very early indeed as l am off north east  to Welney Wetlands in Norfolk.  I am especially hoping to see some hares along with many swans and birds that are wintering over from even colder climes of Scandinavia and Russia.
