Travel upended

I came down with a bug on Friday after we'd visited Charlottesville - pretty sure I know exactly how that happened, given what was going around at the hospital on Wednesday night, my most recent shift. We postponed our trip to Seattle, where we'd planned to celebrate my stepdad's 90th birthday. And to help my sister retrieve boxes from her beautiful apartment, in which black mold has been discovered and has caused her health problems. I've been really worried about her. But to be honest, I'm so relieved not to be on a plane right now.
