One of Those Days

It hasn't warmed up much, but the sun was shining which is all I ask. We made our way to the Farmers' Market leaving Spike home to hold the fort. We bought sausages and I discovered more in the freezer as I was putting them away. I had some of Eddie's indescribably good hot chocolate. A small cup has held me all day without further sustenance.

We've gotten our wires crossed on the laundry as I'm almost sure John is washing a clean and dried batch for a second time. (He said he would do it but he didn't, so I did, leaving it for him to fold which he also said he would do) I've been holed up in the sewing room trying to sew the collar on the star coat. It isn't cooperating so I've left it for another day....the result of trying to do it a different way than the instructions suggest.

Grandson Eden is taking oil painting this semester and Tim sent me a picture of the one he is currently working on. A bit steam punk but amazingly rendered in a difficult medium. I've posted it for today.

I think I read that the court has stopped Musk and his teenaged techies from raiding the US Treasury website, but it seems to me that that train has already left the station unless they find a way to change the entire database. And at this point, I don't even know who 'they' is.

The hot chocolate, rich and wonderful as it is, is finally deserting me and I'm off to figure out what to do with a lot of sausages for dinner...
