My shipment of my latest book, “100 Valleys,” arrived today. As I mentioned before, it is 100 narrative poems about growing up in southern Oregon. Its subject matter is fairly diverse and eclectic, specific to the area and time, but I think appealing to those of us of that vintage wherever.

For someone who thought he would never write a book, I have published four in the last 16 months. I guess I just got on a roll. Another in the works, this one my most challenging.
