Larch Trees and New Birch Trees
A lot of frost around this morning. A surprise as it is very cloudy. By the time partner and I went for a walk, the frost had melted. Views were very flat or very hazy though, even Edinburgh Castle was very dark. Nothing inspiring until we get to the park when the sun made a brief appearance. This highlighted my favourite larch trees and a group birch trees planted a couple of days ago.
After work, the cloud had returned, although quite a bit lighter than the morning. A wee walk to the café for Friday afternoon coffee and cake. Benissimo. After coffee and cake, there is a glimpse of the yellowing sun as it sits behind the trees. Only a couple of weeks ago, walking though the park at this time, there was only an orange glow on the horizon. Days are lengthening.
