To Martha's Gardens
for painting with friends who like
to visit with lunch

I had to set my alarm for 8 AM so I would be sure to be at our plein air session at Martha's Gardens for 10. I've been so dozy in the mornings I had to ensure I wouldn't just go back to sleep. 

It's the perfect day for plein air. The air is calm and the temperature is so comfortable. We each found a spot in the courtyard in front of the shop. The plan was to paint until lunch, then pop inside to order our lunch and visit. It made for a lovely morning except we were missing L today. 

I'm home for the rest of the day. I hope to keep my sewing machine busy for the afternoon.
