Another competition round for E and his team. The playing venue was special. Most of the times all tables are the same, with all the same chairs and all straight in line, and a bit like an office or school auditorium or something like that. But not today. Today it was like playing in a big living room, very cosy.
It was a nice afternoon with lots of laughs. The team played 4-4, E lost from an International Master but had a good fight on the board and compliments from his opponent for making it such a though and great complicated game. E was very close to winning and enjoyed the analysis afterwards with his opponent. This nice man showed E some things to look at for fine tuning his skills. It is really helpful stuff and E was very happy this man showed him how to look at this. It’s not often someone takes the time to share stuff like that.
