Making wassailing headdresses

The local organic farm had it's wassailing event today and I went with the family. Headdresses were made from greenery as in my blip.  There was singing, dancing and cakes.

Afterwards everyone went to the apple orchard making lots of noise and the apple trees were blessed with a toast of cider to hopefully bring a good harvest this year. 

People were asked to take something  for making a noise.  I took her recorder and there's an extra of her playing it with a man who had taken his bass recorder.
