Today's the day ...................... to see the light

A day to ourselves today - to do just as we felt like - which is always nice.

The afternoon was spent watching the rugby matches between Wales and Italy followed by England and France.  Both games were stressful, for different reasons - and I have to say that neither of the teams that I wanted to win, did so!  Will definitely needed something to take his mind off the Welsh game, so he sorted out his watercolour palette (see extra) while it was happening.  And I made some marmalade.

The picture above is our neighbours' cottage across the road, taken at the end of the day.  It's always lovely now to see light in the windows, after the recent powercut .....................!
