Moving forward

Morning at the village hall. I wasn't on the rota for volunteering today but I went down to socialise. By 10.30 the hall was bulging at the seams and  despite the unpleasant weather outside, it was warm and cosy with a real happy buzz. I helped Kath in the recycle shop for a while as there were a lot of donations brought in today. Then it was back upstairs to help with washing and drying up and clearing away. A lively and cheery morning.
This afternoon, after a sit down and a reviving cuppa, I continued with the pinafore dress. I've almost been avoiding putting it together as it seemed a bit daunting with the front zip   and pockets in the side front pieces. I took the bull by the horns and began. I am pleased with the way it is coming together and not so scary as I'd imagined. I'm hoping to make further progress tomorrow. The weather is set to continue dismally for several days so maybe, just maybe the pinafore dress will get finished!
