Busy.2

Today was the second of the lab classes for my class, so I was in by 10:00. It was a slow start but, at the end, I finally found a student who is enthusiastic about what I'm teaching. On the whole, they seem less engaged than ever, but when I suggested to a very much younger colleague that it's also because I'm less engaged with the School, they reckoned that it's a wider problem. Students are engaging less across every cohort (first year through to MSc), every medium (lectures, workshops, recordings, online activities), and every area of Maths. 

Afterwards, I spent time with my intern, and continued the task of preparing for the meeting with our funder on Friday.
