Cypress

On misty mornings these trees stand out from the background better so today I got my long lens out for this shot. The trees are specimens that were planted in some of the big houses, few of which now remain. 

I'm pleased to see that a few birds are already visiting the new bird table. I thought it might take a little longer but I suppose with the chilly weather they more easily overcome their fear of new things.
