Christine’s blanket

Finished it off today and I’m pleased with it. I think I’ll call it ‘springtime’ theme. It’s big so quite difficult to get the whole thing into a photo without losing detail. Cerise pink and pale pink (with little hearts) triangles all around the edges and then different alternating patchwork stripes across the main body. I bought the floral cotton backing specially as I liked how the colours matched the fleecy front. Flowers only machined down in the centre as I thought they looked nicer with the petals free, as though they’d just landed on there :-)
