Taking in the View
I went into town by car first thing for a newspaper and a 10kg bag of sunflower hearts as the stock for the birds was getting low. Then I met G at Kelling Heath for our circular walk, including a lovely cuppa in the bar of the Holiday Village. As we left we saw this couple taking in the view over to Weybourne and the sea from the viewpoint - I've left it as the misty view it was today. Nice to see the horse and the dog together. This afternoon I looked at my postal documents received today for car insurance and home emergency insurance. The car insurance has up by 40% which I assume is a combination of general rise and as I had a claim for a replacement windscreen last year (it always annoys me that protecting your no claims discount doesn't mean they can't put the insurance up as you've had a claim). I've got some questions written out now to ring them on Monday. The home emergency cover increase was fine, despite also making a claim. I was also looking into some potential future days out. I couldn't resist entering the Omaze house prize draw which is for a house at Blakeney overlooking the marshes which is supposedly worth £6M - it looks huge but is actually a 3 bed house, although it does have a pool and tennis court!!!
