Riverbank Snowdrops

On yet another gloomy grey day I went for a stroll beside the local river. There were masses of Snowdrops to be seen, but in individual clumps rather than covering large areas. Todays posting features groups  growing on the edge of an "S bend" in the river.  They would have been more visible, I feel, with some sunshine which was non existent all day
