Female Goldeneye...

Cold grey day with a few flakes of softly falling snow on the tops...foggy up there too. I had a walk around the res and found a female goldeneye duck.At one point it came quite close to the dam wall.

I'm currently listening to 'The Glass Maker' by Tracy Chevalier. It's pretty good and I've loved the history lesson of Murano glass making. It's unusual how it handles time, but so far it has worked for me. The characters stay the same all the way through, even though it goes form the C15 to the present day. I've got about an hour left to listen to.
