Workin

I've made a list of things to do today as I keep on forgetting things. Catching up on blips is the current job.  Earlier in the week, one of the cats an unfortunate instance of explosive pooping which meant me hacking up a piece of the carpet on the landing as it wasn't getting clean and smelled vile.  That meant today we finally decided to go look at flooring for the landing to finish off the DIY bits I did last year. So a trip to Lanark was today's first job.

On the way home we popped in at the farm shop and they'd obviously had some toruble with some of the trees at their entrance in the storm. These chaps were busy chopping down the damaged trees and cutting them up.  Good for a blip whilst we ate a roll for lunch.

Once home, we pulled up a bit of the carpet to relaise that the laminate wasn't going to be a simple as we thought and found a hold in one of the floor boards, so a phone call to the carpet shop got us the number of a joiner who fits their floors so we can ring him to come and check it out on Monday. 

Now I just need to work up the courage to head out in the cold and clean my bike...
