Road trip,
First of all I have to thank all the blippers who responded to my 5000 celebratory blip. It is lovely to read all the comments, and a special thanks to those who sprinkled stars and hearts too.
Today dawned bright but cold, but we had plans. We had been given an afternoon tea for two at Christmas and today we planned to use it. Stronachlachar is a favourite place for us and the little cafe there does superb food.
We drove to Aberfoyle and stopped for a bit of a walk and had a very quick coffee at the cabin before moving on. The road is in bad condition from here on with lots of potholes, but we took our time and enjoyed the stunning views.
The cafe was quite busy but we had reserved our places, and the afternoon tea was to die for, all freshly made (we didn't mind waiting). I also had a wee glass of red wine, well you have to don't you. We took our time and enjoyed it, and had a bit of banter with the waitress who took our photo. (See extraas)
It was a great day, greatly enhanced by the weather and the snow on the hills too.
