An epic day

A wonderful day, wall to wall sunshine and Joe and Esme with us for the day. First we went to Labyrinth Rocks, an extraordinary reserve full of ancient rock formations and verdant bush. Then we went on to Rotatai, a seriously massive bit of coast where the tide was way out. We had a picnic lunch and paddled in the river looking at the little crabs. Home for a bit of a chill and mammoth book reading session, then on to windy Ligar Bay for a swim. The waves were bouncy and close together and we had a riotous time, Esme bouncing over the waves clinging on to her Noodle!! Home for quick showers and then out to Dangerous Kitchen for some mighty pizzas. The day has not yet ended as it's sleepover time, Joe staying as well! Wrecked but happy.
