I was in town this morning. It was very chilly. Walking back to the bus along Cheltenham’s famous Promenade I realised just how chilly the retail market is here. It has caught up with the demise of Edinburgh’s Princes Street. With a new shopping outlet complex opening just off the M5 this summer things will get even worse. It’s not surprising. Britain is a world leading on line shopping nation now!
