Edinburgh and Fife
A cold start to the day, a bit of frost. Not much wind. In the sun on the morning walk it felt very warm in the sunshine. We had lovely blue skies overhead, but views were obscured by haze.
After work, up to the Braid Hills. The sun is a bit higher in the sky, so doesn't set behind the Pentland Hills so early. The view across to Fife is better, but the sun is setting rather fast as we walk along the ridge. The blip shows a good view across Edinburgh, and across the Firth of Forth to Fife with Pettycur Bay caravan site in the centre and Kinghorn to the right along the coast. Just after taking this photo, the houses at the front of the photo slipped in to the shadow the sun slipped behind the Pentland Hills. Walk home in dusk conditions, blue sky above us and a burnt orange western horizon (too many houses in the way to take a decent photo though, so you'll just have to take my word for it).
