A day at Stowe

The herbaceous bed outside the cafe was very attractive this year but it is tempting for children and those taking a short cut to walk between the plants. Our challenge today was to create a deterrent fence to hopefully prevent trespassing amongst the plants. We successfully made the fence with homegrown hazel twigs from recent coppicing. All part the National Trust going green.
