Brrh!

Wind chill, the weather experts call it. To we ordinary humans, this translates to turning a sub-zero day into one that's been absolutely freezing.

On the way home from town, the bus I was on broke down, half way between the town centre and my destination. The twenty or so of us had to get off the bus and walk through arctic winds and sleet for 15 minutes to reach another bus option to carry on with our journeys. I was not amused, especially as I already had the beginnings of a cold. I am now at home, wrapped in a blanket, drinking Lemsip.
