Snow sculpting!

Scenic four hour train journey from Kushiro to Sapporo today. Views of the coast with its black volcanic sand and the high mountains attached in extra and a superior bento box lunch. Saw a crane, two red foxes and some deer from the train.
Arrived in Sapporo for a pre dinner walk around its annual one week festival of impressive snow sculptures. Exhausted! Here for four nights.
