Coffee with our friend.

We met up with our friend this morning at the Renato Lounge in our local shopping area.
She is a former work colleague of Stephen’s and one who now makes fabulous cakes!
Our Golden Wedding one in July 2023 was amazing.

As it is Stephen’s birthday tomorrow we are going out for a meal for both our birthdays this evening, at the local hotel we pass by on our usual circular walk.
Tomorrow the family are all coming round for cake.
I am making a dairy free chocolate one this afternoon, with dairy free melted chocolate icing.
A Gluten, dairy and nut free cake was purchased at Sainsbury’s so we cover all the allergies in the family.
It has tried to sleet this morning and more is in the forecast for this evening.
