Grindon Moor Tree (with walkers...)

We met up with our neighbour and friends for the Wednesday Wobble starting from the village of Onecote.

It was a bit of a muddy one but sunny and dry. We walked over Grindon Moor towards Butterton and back to Onecote. This is a very photogenic lone tree on the top of Grindon Moor. I have photographed it before.

We had a lovely lunch in the Jervis Arms in Onecote, with a plan to do a few more miles in the afternoon. It didn't quite happen that way as most of the group bowed out after lunch. So the walk was finished there. I was quite tired from a few active days of walking and gardening anyway.
