Buttermere

I met up with a couple of friends this morning and we had a few hours at Buttermere. The weather forecast was good, but the sun didn't materialise. Looking back towards Crummock & Loweswater it looked much brighter, but we had a good morning nevertheless. 

I particularly liked the deep water around the rather sad looking Buttermere Birch, but it's good to see how much the growth is bushing up around it's base.

I used a little stopper (6-stop) and a reverse grad over the sky as it was particularly bright just above the fells, but more cloudy higher up.
