Aethon ni i'r dre ar y bws heddiw. Roedd y pwrpas o'r daith i newid batris mewn ffonau Nor'dzin a Dan, oherwydd mae gan y ddau, ffônau 'Pixel 4a' a dwedodd Google maen nhw angen batris newydd. Yn anffodus, allai neb newid y batris heddiw, ond rydyn ni wedi bwcio amser Ddydd Gwener, mis Chwefror y pedwerydd ar ddeg. Diwrnod rhamantus i baru ffôn a batri, rydw i'n siŵr.

Roedd y dre'n dawel. Does dim llawer o gwsmeriaid yn y siopau, a rhai o siopau wedi cau i lawr. Rydw i'n meddwl bod gormod o siopau gyda Chaerdydd nawr (ond dim llawer o amrywiaeth). Aethon ni i gwpl o siopau a'r farchnad. Roeddwn i eisiau prynu rhai o ddeunydd ysgrifennu ac roedd Nor'dzin angen rhai o rwymiad bias am ei phrosiect diweddaraf hi.

Ar ddiwedd ein taith aethon ni i 'Mowgli's bwyty Indiaid am bryd gwych. Roedd llawer o fwyd blasus gyda ni. Efallai bod y siopau'n wag ond mae'r bwytai'n brysur.

We went to town on the bus today. The purpose of the trip was to change batteries in Nor'dzin and Dan's phones, because they both have 'Pixel 4a' phones and Google said they need new batteries. Unfortunately, nobody could change the batteries today, but we have booked a time for Friday, February the fourteenth. A romantic day to match phone and battery, I'm sure.

The town was quiet. There are not many customers in the shops, and some shops have closed down. I think Cardiff has too many shops now (but not much variety). The 'Capitol' center (photo) is almost empty and its main purpose is to make cubist reflections of the better architecture of the past.

We went to a couple of shops and the market. I wanted to buy some stationery and Nor'dzin needed some bias binding for her latest project.

At the end of our trip we went to Mowgli's Indian restaurant for a great meal. We had a lot of delicious food. The shops may be empty but the restaurants are busy
