Tired children

My two year old is heavy enough to go into a "grown up" booster seat. So as a treat for our journey to the cinema to see Epic, he was in the front passenger seat.

We went for lunch and some shopping before returning home, and this was the sight when I got home.

In other news I bought a charcoal starter, which means that a barbecue is ready to cook on in about 20 minutes without firelighters. We celebrated with an impromptu barbecue, followed by turning it into a fire to toast marshmallows, both of which gives a holiday feeling.
