Bromeliad

Today like yesterday we had Margot to look after. She was full of beans and can confidently count to ten. Between Margot and baby cat Sika they make the place look like a bomb site. Consequently Saturday is always my cleaning and tidying day. 

I had a partial reprieve from child minding (of sorts!) today because I had a follow up (six months post op) appointment with my knee surgeon. He rated me an 'oustanding' (knee that is). :-)) 

This showy pink bromeliad is out with several blooms and what pleasure they give, even though they are in part responsible for the mozzie plague in the back yard.
